Large Turnout of Manning Supporters Expected at SF Pride

Many marchers will not only be celebrating their sexuality, relationships and, with the U.S. Supreme Court’s help, possibly marriage equality, but a large number are expected to march in support of imprisoned gay Army private first class Bradley Manning.

The board that oversees the San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade is facing a backlash after it rescinded a community grand marshal honor for Army Private First Class Bradley Manning, the gay man who leaked 700,000 classified government documents.

2011 Seattle Pride Parade :: June 26, 2011
Dykes on BikesĀ® led the start of Seattle’s 37th annual Pride Parade, put on by Seattle Out & Proud. From leather & chaps to unicorns to numerous civic and corporate groups, the parade took more than 3 hours for the approximate 180 participants to make their way through downtown Seattle, and EDGE was there to capture every glorious moment on film!
